The Prize

The Rules For The Photography Competition

1. Images should be submitted with a description about the image of more than 125 words. For example: What equipment used, relationship to subject, when and where picture taken.
2. The deadline for entry is 31st March 2010.
3. This competition is open to participants worldwide, aged 18 or over on the closing date.
4. It is free to enter
5. You must be the photographer and owner of the copyright for any image entered.
6. It is the responsibility of the entrants to obtain permission for any recognisable person (or their parent/guardian)
7. Entrants can submit as many photos as they want and the more pictures submitted, the greater the chance of winning.
8. Digital manipulation is allowed, but preference will be given to natural, unaltered photos in the event of a tie.
9. Submitted images should be a maximum of 800x600 pixels.
10. Images must not include a watermark or border.
11. You will retain copyright of your entries at all times and will always be credited alongside your picture.
12. By entering this competition, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your photograph on this website.
13. Under no-circumstance will we use submitted images for commercial gain apart from promotion on this website.
14. Voting will commence straight away and run through to the closure date. Anyone can vote for any picture as soon as it is submitted. Votes will only be counted if they are submitted with a comment as well as the name of the person voting to the page that the picture is on.
15. The winning entrant will be the picture with the most valid votes and will be announced on 1st April 2010.
16. I am the judge and my decision is final. If there is a tie, I will cast the winning vote.
