Kodak Zi8 Pocket Video Camera

I bought the Kodak Zi8 back in November and I haven’t looked back since. The quality of the videos I take is outstanding and can literally fit in my pocket. I never leave the house with out it and in quicker than a moment’s notice I can be recording my son running in the park or a guitarist playing outside of the café. The Kodak Zi8 comes with a nifty accessory: an HDMI cable. Simply connect the HDMI into the camera and your TV and you can be watch your videos on the television screen or use it the television as a monitor while you record your home movies.

The only draw back with the Zi8 is the lens itself. It is a very wide lens with very a poor zoom and a close-up mode that simply zooms into the image. I don’t particularly care for that. However, there are so many little accessories that you can buy for your Zi8, like small telephoto lens.

Originally designed for cameras on telephones, these lenses will give your Zi8 a beautiful depth of field and further expands the creative possibilities you can obtain with the Kodak pocket cam.

I bought my Kodak Zi8 off the Internet from New York’s B&H website for only $200. A small price for such an amazing product!
