I have a Nikon CoolPix L20 camera with 10 mega pixels and 3.6X zoom that my friends bought for me from Sam’s Club two years ago (2008) for my 21st Birthday. I use it off and on, mostly for birthdays and pictures of my knitted projects, but I’d say it’s equally good for indoor and outdoor use.
Action shots, I’m not sure – most people pose for the pics I take. I love it because it has a rechargeable battery (the charger was included) and it’s easy to use for the most part.
The Nikon CoolPix L20 can record short movies and you can change the settings for indoors, outdoors, nighttime and probably a few I can’t remember. There are also options for black and white or sepia shots.
The thing I like least is trying to remember how to navigate through the camera settings. I’d recommend this camera for someone who hasn’t had a digital one before because it’s simple to use for the most part and it’s small and lightweight.
