Marina - Tucepi

This beautiful picture was taken at the harbor in Tucepi, Croatia. I visited this lovely place last summer in June. It was my first visit of Croatia, so I shot lots of photos and this one is my favourite.

This red beacon, welcomes ships to "little marina" where the ships and boats stay over night. The light is placed of top of the white rock-fill dam which makes lovely scenery for taking pictures.

The photo was taken at sunset and a few minutes before the storm, so it made interesting colours. I made a few other shots of this place at different times of the day, but only this one gave me such good feelings.

It's taken with my Nikon D80 digital camera and nikkor 50/1.8 lens, f=35mm, 1/50s, ISO100, F5.6.
