Canon Digital Rebel EOS XSI

Canon Digital Rebel EOS XSI

Since I was 13 years old, 24 years ago, I have been in love with Canon and my Canon EOS Rebel XSI has continued that love affair. My first Canon was a Canon T-70 and it took me 9 months to save for that camera, it lasted me 17 years.

In January of 2009 I finally had the money to purchase another Canon and this time I went with a digital camera and man do I LOVE it.

The Rebel XSI is light weight and switching lenses is very simple. It uses a basic red or white dot for lining up and than simply twist to put on or take off. The large LCD screen allows me to see exactly what I just captured. The camera also has options to have the image displayed singly or have multiple images for proofing.

The camera is a 12 megapixel but it lets me change the resolution based on my needs. I always keep it at the 12 to achieve the clearest image I can. The camera has many different options that I haven't even touched upon. I can change many different settings. It has a self timer, multiple continuous shot for action, white balance control and more.

I did my research on prices before purchasing this camera. In the end I went with buydig.com. They seemed to have the best deal for this camera at that time. I purchased an additional lens, warranties on the body and the lens, and an accessory kit all for $1038.

I have taken my camera to many places and I never shoot less than 200 images when I go. I love having the option to take a large amount of images and not having to develop them which is costly. I can take them home and edit as I want.

I love my Canon EOS Rebel XSI and would tell everyone to get one!

Took Me A While To Get Used To It
by: Robin Jordan

I also own a the Canon Slr Rebel XSI. My camera is an SLR so it has interchangeable parts such as lens and such. The lens that the camera comes with is a 18-55mm, this means how far the lens goes within the lens barrel.

The best things about this camera are that it is very easy to use, very self explanatory, has many different shooting expertise. One thing that the camera doesn't seem to do well with is night shots, this may also be my ability to use the camera. I am slowly making the setting better but the night shots never come out the way i want them too.

I bought this camera online at Amazon.com. This is a very good camera and I would highly suggest it but I would also suggest getting a case and a UV protector for the lens at minimal. The camera is great for almost all kinds of shots, like I said above not so great for night shooting, but still is a magnificent camera.

The display screen is very nice and has a light sensor so it will shut off when you go to take a picture using the view finder. This camera takes a little getting used to but it gives a much greater variety of options for shooting pictures.
