White Wagtail (Motacilla alba)

White Wagtail (Motacilla alba)

White Wagtail (Motacilla alba)

The Motacilla Alba is part of the wagtail family and is a smallish bird with black feathers and a white patch on its head. It's also related to other wagtail species such as the longclaws and pipits. This White Wagtail breeds all over Europe, Asia and parts of North Africa.

This was a very tough shot for me to capture. I had to wait for at least half an hour while lying on the ground. My back was really sore and so was the side of my head, but it was worth it to get this picture.

I was only about two feet away from this little fella...it was wondering...what is happening and even tried to show his patience...but I had mine too..!!!
