Sunrise At The Peak

Focal Length: 12mm

Camera: Canon 400D
no adjustments made whatsoever...

This picture was taken at the top of "Nockspitz" near Innsbruck, Austria. After a hike up late the day before we spent a freezing autumn in between sheep with our sleeping bags to watch the sun rise early morning.

At the bottom left you can see innsbruck waking up to a beautiful day.

I didn't use a tripod in this shot, as carrying one up there would def. exceeded my desired weight of backbag, and with an exposure of only 1/25 it wasn't all that important anyways. we chose nockspitz as our desired peak, because of it's lovely view on the city of innsbruck and the smaller crowd (in this case no-one except us) compared to other peaks in the area.
